At Splash of Gold, creativity is about more than making pictures. It is about bringing people together, encouraging imagination and creating experiences that people remember.

Steve Gould is an artist, photographer, author and community arts facilitator, working through Splash of Gold and The Kitty Krew on a growing range of creative and community projects.

We love working with people who share our enthusiasm for art, books, creativity, education, the environment and community.

We are always happy to hear from schools, community organisations, charities, cultural venues, local authorities, businesses, festivals and event organisers interested in working together.

Projects can include art workshops, children's creative activities, author events and talks, photography, environmental activities, Kitty Krew projects, exhibitions, community art and specially developed activities for individual organisations.

Our creative sessions can combine art, drawing, storytelling and books in ways that encourage children to use their own imagination.

The Kitty Krew can also introduce themes including:

Their adventures can help start conversations about friendship, creativity, wildlife, our coastline, caring for the environment and taking pride in our communities.

Community is at the heart of Splash of Gold.

We are particularly interested in projects that bring generations together, make creativity accessible and give people who may not normally consider themselves artists an opportunity to take part.

Some projects may be supported through grants, sponsorship or partnership funding, while others may be commissioned directly by the organisation involved.

If funding is a consideration, please still talk to us. There may be opportunities worth exploring together.

Steve is also available for author events, creative talks, demonstrations, exhibitions and family activities.

With The Kitty Krew in Wonderland, there are also exciting opportunities for storytelling, illustration, Victorian photography and Wonderland-inspired creative workshops.

And occasionally an Official Wonderland Photographer may appear.

His paperwork is impeccable.

Whether Wonderland recognises it is another question entirely. 🎩📸🐾
