🌍 IN ORBIT at the Embassy Theatre

We’re also proud supporters of the local arts scene. The Embassy Theatre launched its 2023 season with the awe-inspiring β€œIN ORBIT” series β€” featuring the spectacular works of artist Luke Jerram.

This six-week installation brought global-scale artworks including:

  • 🌍 Gaia (Earth)
  • πŸŒ• Museum of the Moon
  • πŸ”΄ Mars

The Embassy was transformed into a space of reflection, wonder, and education β€” and we were thrilled to be a part of this celebration of creativity and connection.

Let me know if you’d like this formatted into a section for your GoDaddy site, or if you’d like posters or social media content to help promote your Storehouse sessions!www.igould.co.uk

My Work Making A Splash in The Community

🎨 Creativity That Connects

At Splash of Gold, I strive to bring art beyond the studio walls  into communities, classrooms, and care settings  because I believe that creativity is healing, empowering, and enriches every life it touches.

With many years of experience in the health and social care sector, I’ve seen first  hand how creative expression can open doors where words sometimes fail. My work as an artist and tutor is deeply rooted in compassion, patience, and the belief that everyone is creative   sometimes they just need permission to begin.

I work with:

  • Individuals living with physical and mental health challenges
  • Those recovering from strokes or trauma
  • People experiencing dementia or age  related decline
  • Individuals with behavioural difficulties
  • Students with special educational needs or learning differences
  • Local home  educated children and young people

My community  based workshops across Lincolnshire are designed to be inclusive, relaxed, and joyful. We use art not just to make pictures  but to build confidence, boost self-esteem, and foster friendships. In every mark made, there’s a moment of expression, exploration, or calm.

I’ve built strong connections with:

  • Community Mental Health teams
  • Community Care organisations
  • Homeschooling networks
  • And individuals seeking a safe, nurturing space to be creative.

Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or returning to a lost passion, you’re welcome here.

🌿 Art, Nature & Wellbeing

I believe deeply in the holistic power of art β€” as a therapeutic outlet, a form of self-expression, and a way to reconnect with both ourselves and the world around us.

Art has the power to soothe the spirit and awaken inner creativity β€” even (and especially) when words fall short. Whether we’re painting in a garden, sketching by the sea, or simply observing the natural world around us, the creative process becomes a form of healing.

It’s widely recognised β€” both holistically and medically β€” that spending time outdoors benefits our mental and physical health. By combining art with nature, I offer engaging, accessible activities that:

  • Boost wellbeing
  • Encourage mindfulness
  • Strengthen self-worth
  • And invite people to reconnect with their own creativity in a calm, natural setting

My outdoor workshops and environmental art projects are designed to be inclusive, enriching, and fun β€” helping people of all ages rediscover joy through creativity and connection.
